Since it is alleged that Bilibili is behind these bots, you ever wonder whether mentioning major events that are banned in China would scare these bots away?
A lot of nonsensical things can be alleged, doesn't mean we take it seriously.
mentioning major events will not get rid of all these bots bc the chinese government cannot monitor loading comments like this one over HTTPS
plus i dont think mentioning a specific country's major event is nice
i usually avoid mentioning those
That is true. Good call.
and the response to it too. strange.
why do i feel like i have seen this same comment more than 3 times... in different comment sections...
Were the claims made by the same person?
idk or maybe its just weird deja vu
Ayanokōji: "We never intended to win from the beginning. We will get beaten now, so it will give strength later."
Kei: "What does that mean?"
That's some crazy reverse psychology sh!t. Honestly Idk what that means, only Ayanokōji knows what he's cooking but we know he will cook something good. Just "trust the process".
Ryuen sure is shameless. I really want Ayanokōji to crush him lol
They need to experience defeat for that good ol Character development
even then there was no character development lol.
Are you sure about that? lol
yes im sure, her development is the least even in ln actually till vol 11.5 aside from ichinose that is.
yeah this is true.
Poor Ichinose. She is trying her best and lost in everything. But still keep trying and trying (unless vol 14)
I used to like her as one of the character's here but after vol 14 even that like vanished.
I need to read it
Her?
Ichinose or hori?
ichilose ofc.
I’d simp over her any day.
Yep, down horrendous. But hey, she’s not taken yet.
Character Development < Sharpening of Tools
I'm sure you got that development after a few thousand scouts
I only recently started reading the LN so I'm only at the islant exam from season 1 right now, but from what I understood in the last episode, Ayanokouji said something like: there's not much room for tricks that boost your placements. Also their homeroom teacher said this festival will last 1 day despite the many numbers of events, exactly because it is purely a competition of athleticism and stamina. On the other side, in the island exam Ayanokouji single handedly changed the scores drastically because he has such a freedom, on the planet exam, class D didnt come out 1st because his results were only 1/8 of the entire exam. And lastly in this sports festival, even if he tried his best, there would't be much to do to secure good placements other than train and train and train, so Ayanokouji;s involvement wouldnt even make that much of a difference. When Ayanokouji saw how much of a pain in the ass it would be and how little payoff would it bring, he was like: ok lets just fail as miserably as possible. Doing so will bring everyone in class D back to reality, because so far they were doing really good and they probably thought that class D actually has a chance, but it was only Ayanokouji moving the chess pieces. So this time he chose to do nothing so that everyone gets off their high horses. At least this is what Im thinking. He also said last episode he is starting to feel like wanting to make class D a class which can reach class A on their own, so that was another clue right there, because it doesnt mean they will win or do very good on this festival, he's looking at the bigger picture in the long run. As far as everyone is concerned, All it matters is what class they are when they graduate, before that literally nothing matters except private point to help you achieve that maybe?
First and foremost ayanokouji's conversation towards horikita was not as simple as that, she was being useless. while the classmates of d class heard that someone was raising voices towards how ayanokouji chastise suzune even making her look stupid compared to children. (Showing they are not that much oblivious towards any happenings).
2ndly the convo of kei, hirata and ayanokouji is too toned down to even be called DUMB VERSION. Since suggestions was flying to kiyotaka about replacing the order of members in each event if he had known about it but corrected kei in order to avoid confusion about participation. not just as simple questioning about who the traitor was.
3rdly Manabu horikita gave a little bit of advice towards suzune in that scene he did not just stop.
4thly the scene where sudo was attaking was toned down to the point it was not shown that Sudo is a very capable student.
fourthly If u fully want to understand ayanokouji continue reading before making full assumptions about those bs stuff u even mention. It sounds to an actual reader of cote that your just making fanfiction about his inner psychology.
This was a little bit of the issue I have with the anime adaptation. With CotE there’s so many details to the LN’s and just thoughts that Ayanokoji has or things he does that can’t be included in the anime because it wouldn’t be practical.
Yet it’s what makes the series that just more appealing. I’ve seen a couple negative reviews of how the 2nd season isn’t as good as the first because it’s doing the same “cool Mc” but there’s so much more I’d love to see but it just won’t happen.
Totally fine with it. But I think CotE is a series best experienced in LN. Idk, maybe it’s just me. I feel like it is a lot more entertaining and in depth in the written version.
yup ln cote is the best cote as far as the medium with heavy dialogue is i think they would still be enjoyed in the anime format if adpated properly as to how the story flows with respect to its professional setup. the neglect of intereaction is not good when 86 showed that even pauses are added to set the tone properly.
Honestly CotE anime first season did it very very well. Second season I feel hasn’t been as good, but in terms of getting story points across I think it’s honestly ok. Overall the anime is still very enjoyable, though the LN is the best experience.
mostly correct.
the main contender here is horikita and sudo, ayanokoji want those to looks down to earth as much as they can.
horikita and sudo currently had more downside than the upside they had to offer even as a chess piece.
He is right when saying horikita straight up useless, she isnt even usefull as a fuckin chess piece.
Wow this is perfect summarization up to this ep
Finally help me understand ayono acts in a macro level
nice deduction, i'm really curious thought why he said they need redhead guy. If they are planing to loose miserably, what is the purpose of having him?
It's all according to keikaku
Eat something nasty, receive something delicious afterwards.
if they lose now, then horikita will comply more, sudou under horikita's direct control will be more useful, and everyone will be more desperate for a win so they will work together
It might make the team try to get together? Idk tbh.
Ryuen is crazy, though.
I mean, how can mere mortals like us even think about what is going on in Ayonokonji's mind
but still, how did horikita fell into the trap so easily, i mean if she get the blame, we should alr know, that if horikita wants to injure class c girl, she wouldn't do something reckless like use her body to stumble her (can be seen by the result that horikita's performance declining), instead she could use her class just like ryuen even though its not in line with her conviction)... by this scene i bet ryuen would alr know that the class D mastermind isnt horikita but our MC, since horikita fall easily by his trap)
Maybe it’s a surprise because it makes them look terribly weak being crushed like this and when they start dominating later their enemies will be left wondering what’s happening or it’s a fluke until they completely lose
You really don't know what that means??
Yeahh
I don't know if he's lying or playing some reverse psychology stuff or speaking the truth.
I can't really trust anything when MCs like Ayanokōji are saying most of the times.
Also I'm not a ln reader
Oh so you were being serious, I wasn't sure if you were joking or not. Well it's quite simple, just means defeat/failure can make you stronger.
But you don't have to be an ln reader to get what he says, in life survival is determined by how we perceive information, how well we do it, how fast we analyze and process (our analytical speeds) and capabilities of deducing such information. Being able to figure out the whole picture or puzzle from just a few brush strokes or puzzle pieces can dictate your ability to succeed in life, security and many other things. So I don't accept that as an excuse, sorry.
Some people can read other people better than others, deducing their words and actions, so forgive me I tend to think everyone can do it easily and forget it's not that common. But you're on the right track with not trusting easily aha, hopefully you learn to be able to comprehend stuff like this better as you age. If you want to enough, you'll probably be able to. Anyways enjoy.
The message at the opening states that failure is the first step to success. He is intentionally planning to fail.
lol would be good troll if ayanokoji got everything bad and just left
that would be too anticlimatic if he just got everything and then left just like that.
Ryuen is trash, weak azz mf behind the scene. He can freely do whatever he wants coz he got that one big azz n1gga on his side.
I guess it’s just like Horikita to straight up ask Kushida to her face if she’s the traitor, lol…this girl really could learn a thing or two about tact. ^^;
Lmao that blatant cheating by Ryuuen’s team…is no one from the school staff monitoring these games?
Also, an FYI to Gogo regulars: apparently our friendly neighborhood Rutabaga (Anime and Rutabagas) was mistakenly banned from Gogo for parodying some bot comments in the comment sections (very smart, I know). Our boy was playing with fire for sure, but he ain’t a bot, lol…so if any of you are on the Gogo Discord, please help to put in a good word with the admin if possible and help to free Ruta. 😭
You should try this, too👉👉:
